Investing in our borough

We have so much planned in Havering for you to get involved in. Below, we have outlined some of our most exciting projects:

Beam Park Rainham

As part of our joint venture with Notting Hill Genesis, we’re committed to building over a 1000 new homes – including affordable housing and shared ownership. Plans also include a new C2C rail station, school, nursery and medical centre which will provide our residents with the services they need.

Bridge Close, Romford

As part of a joint venture with First Base, we are transforming Romford town centre with 1,070 new homes and work spaces. This will bring jobs to our local area as well as build communities.

The 12 Estates

The Council’s joint venture with Wates Residential will regenerate 12 estates across the borough, with just under 4,000 new homes to be built, including affordable housing. The 12 estates project also includes a comprehensive programme of community initiatives and commitments to the whole of the borough’.
